Using a pattern that has roots in several Ancient cultures, Meander brings together the colors from a variety of Pride flags. The small printed portraits found throughout the mural come from two sources. Blended together in harmony are linoblock images produced by citizens of Austin of themselves or loved ones as well as artist produced illustrations of persons from the Queer community who have helped moved forward the cause of equality. Scroll down this page to see galleries of all the portraits in the project.
Meander is part of the inaugural 2-D version of the City of Austin's Tempo Public Art Program. Special thanks to the Parks & Recreation department for hosting our community workshops at the Lamar Senior Center and to Midtown Ishmael Law Firm, PC for their financial support.

Saturated
Flash Collective allies CRAFT graciously hosted Saturated for PrintAustin 2017. The diverse group of artists included share in common an intense use of color. The vibrancy of many works is such that their true hues cannot be captured by a camera and can only be appreciated in person. The images below are but a phantom of the actual.
